About

I earned a PhD in human geography from Stockholm University and my research seeks critical geographic understanding of inequalities and sustainabilities. My PhD thesis used a political ecology approach to critically explore the complex politics, spatial tensions and interactions between environmental change, grassland use and policy interventions in a pastoral context of Northern China. During and after the dotoral education, I have further developed my core research inquiries on and at the intersection of several themes including labour migration, climate migration, rural/agrarian transformation, and recently digital geographies and the gig economy. My studies have mainly focused on Sweden and China.
